Explore watercolor painting with Artist and WCPS Art Educator Kim Brown. We will be painting scenes of nature using watercolor. We will explore different qualities of color : light/dark and warm/cool and see how they change throughout nature. Students will paint items such as mountains, trees, the sea, animals, people and houses that would fit in a landscape.

Students will learn art concepts and techniques and apply to art projects. Students will also explore the museum – a unique experience to inspire young artists and create a lifelong relationship with art and the museum.

Students should bring a packed lunch for a 1 hour lunch/recess break.

Cost: $155 museum members/$170 for non-museum members
