Coloring Party with Illustrator

February 11, 2017  1:00 – 3:30 p.m.

Join Meagan Mullins, local illustrator, as she explains color theory and discusses her adult coloring book, “Femme and Flora.” Participants will also eat snacks and color! Colored pencils will be provided as well as coloring sheets but you are welcome to bring your own! In this class we’ll go over the basics of color theory and focus on palettes suitable for coloring the human form.  I’ll talk about lighting effects, highlights, and shadows on faces and how to achieve realistic shading.  I will then talk about how I created my coloring book using a gridding method to draw accurate figures

For ages 15 and up!
