COVID-19 Visitor Conduct
Museum Members week: Tuesday, July 21 – Sunday, July 26
Open to the public beginning Tuesday, July 28
Tuesday-Saturday: 10 AM – 4 PM
Sunday: 1 – 4 PM
As we reopen the Museum doors for you, please take a moment to read the COVID-19 Visitor Conduct before visiting.
We are committed to creating a safe environment for our visitors and staff. The Museum requires that you agree to follow these protocols for your own safety and the safety of others. We’re all in this together.
Wear a mask
Staff and visitors must wear masks at all times while at the Museum of Fine Arts.
Please stay at home if you are sick, experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, or have had known exposure to the virus.
Wash your hands
Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer as soon as you enter the building.
You will notice new signage to help everyone maintain a safe social distance—6 feet between visiting groups. Please adhere to all social distancing guidelines in the buildings and in restrooms.
Follow Directional Signs
We have established temporary one-way routes in the museum and have closed some small galleries that do not allow safe Social Distancing.
Coat check is not available. Large bags (more than 11×15 inches) are not permitted. Backpacks are not permitted. Soft front-facing carriers and strollers are allowed. Wheelchairs, in limited numbers, are available for temporary use during your visit. Please notify a visitor services staff member.
Please be kind to our staff and to other visitors. Respect the directions of the staff, who are working to ensure your safety.
Visitors not following the above requirements may be asked to leave.
