WILDflowers is made with welded junk sculptures. The premise of the table is that a young girl has stopped her garden chores and climbed inside a wheelbarrow, gazing at the garden. The flowers have gone “wild.” They are dancing, gazing in mirrors, gasping in horror at garden shears, providing protection for a mouse and making friends with insects. Is this real or the imagination of the young girl? This is for the viewer to decide.

Cindy Roberts Downs is a local artist well known for her watercolors who has now branched out to welding sculptures from junk. Cindy won the WCMFA Amazing Tablescapes Peoples Choice in 2018. This is Cindy’s third Amazing Tablescape.
