Joseph Holston: Color in Freedom, Journey along the Underground Railroad, Sept. 24, 2022 to Jan. 14, 2023. Noted contemporary artist Joseph Holston brings his graphic power and vision to creating a powerful imagined journey along the Underground Railroad. More than 50 paintings, etchings, and drawings evoke the courage and tenacity of enslaved peoples struggling toward freedom. Color in Freedom is a metaphor for the conclusion of their journey.
