Museum accepting bids for insurance


The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts is inviting you to bid for the Fine Arts/Fine Arts Transit/Comprehensive/General Liability Insurance Package/Workman’s Comp/ and the Directors and Officers Liability Insurance.

We also request that you provide a stand-alone bid just for Fine Arts/Fine Arts Transit insurance.

The Museum of Fine Arts will accept sealed bid proposals for the insurance mentioned above at Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, P. O. Box 423, City Park, Hagerstown, Maryland 21741. The bids must be received by May 31, 2024.

All insurance companies submitting proposals must have a policy holder rating of “A” or better and a Financial Rating of “Class XV” as shown in the latest edition of Best’s Insurance Guide. Proposals will be accepted only from insurance companies duly licensed to do business in the State of Maryland. The Museum reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and is not obligated to accept the lowest dollar proposal. No proposals shall be withdrawn for 60 days from the date opened. All bids must be marked “Sealed Bid for Insurance.”
