Our Favorite Things

Table No. 8 by the Weavers’ Roundtable

“Our Favorite Things” has been created by the Weavers’ Roundtable members, a weaving and spinning group that enjoys the many fiber art styles featured here.  This group originated as an outgrowth of weaving classes held at the Museum at the time.  After nearly 43 years, we are still growing in numbers and creative diversity!

The following fiber arts are represented: weaving, spinning, dyeing, needle felting, knitting, crocheting, tatting, Temari balls, Dorset buttons, smocking, inkle, card weaving, sewing, and counted cross stitching.  You will enjoy locating all the cute little animals as well as original and very useful household textiles.  Our dogs don’t bite, and our bees don’t sting but our kittens do have whiskers.  As you will quickly recognize, “Our Favorite Things” are varied, unique, and so much fun to create and to share with you.

The Weavers’ Roundtable appreciates the opportunity to meet at the Museum on the second Wednesday of each month and is open to new members.
