Pastels Workshop

12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Open Studio
Instruction and studio time will focus on soft pastels but also include oil pastels. Mr. Weaver will lead the workshop from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on both days and students will have the opportunity to stay and work in the art classroom for the remainder of the day. Lee Weaver will demonstrate techniques and show examples of finished works of people, landscape, etc. There will be a still life available as a subject, but there will also be photos of landscapes and people.
Be Advised- portraits are difficult usually requiring a special pastel set specifically for portraits. You can choose to work with soft or oil pastels.
