Washington County Museum of Fine Arts Announces New Manager of Marketing & Publications
HAGERSTOWN, MD (July 15, 2025) — The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts is pleased to announce the appointment of Bailey Rafter as Manager of Marketing & Publications, effective July 1, 2025.
A native of Hagerstown, Rafter brings a strong background in strategic communication and a passion for community engagement. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communication from Georgetown University and has served in roles supporting public safety communications and nonprofit branding throughout the region, including with the Mid-Atlantic Center for Emergency Management.
In her new position, Rafter will oversee the museum’s advertising, event promotion, media relations, social media strategy, website content, and print publications.
Executive Director Sarah J. Hall shared that Rafter’s blend of local insight, creative energy, and communications expertise make her a valuable addition to the museum’s leadership team:
“Bailey brings creativity and an understanding of communication strategies that will help us better reach and cultivate our audience,” Hall said. “She joins us at a pivotal moment as the museum continues to grow its offerings and impact.”
Rafter expressed enthusiasm for serving her hometown community through the arts:
